About the Role

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract until February 2025. This is a physically active role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a small, friendly team during our busiest time of year.

This role is a hybrid of pick/pack and product assembly – perfect for someone who takes pride in completing a job from start to finish.

While the role is ideally full-time on a contract basis, casual employment may also be considered depending on the candidate.

Key duties will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
  
• Assembling products (e.g., umbrellas) using hand tools and drills to match client specifications
  
• Repacking assembled items ready for dispatch
  
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks (30kg+ lifting required)
  
• Unpacking and organising incoming stock or containers
  
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and WHS standards
  

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Is physically fit and capable of safely lifting items up to 30kg
  
• Has experience using hand tools or drills for assembly
  
• Has previous experience in warehouse, logistics or pick/pack environments
  
• Can follow job instructions carefully and work with minimal supervision
  
• Has strong attention to detail – matching products and components accurately
  

Highly desirable but not essential:

• Current forklift licence
