Services Engineers looking for the next step should read on

You’ve cut your teeth on live, complex jobs where building services drive the program. You’ve worked with mechanical or electrical trades and know how to make the services piece run smoothly under pressure.

This is a large-scale data project in Melbourne’s west, focused on services and fit-out. It’s already passed the $200 million mark and is pushing toward $500 million. The pace is relentless, the technical scope will stretch you, and you’ll be close to the action on site, not tucked away.

I was on site this week, and the camaraderie stood out. People looked engaged, happy, and pulled in the same direction. Plenty of work is ahead, even food trucks and simulators to keep things interesting through long days.

We’re looking for two engineers. One with a mechanical background and one with an electrical background. Both will report to the Services Manager and work alongside a sharp commercial and delivery team. These roles are a significant step up if you’ve been on projects with heavy services but want to move into bigger builds with more complexity.

This is a builder with serious capability but zero ego. You’ll join a team where decisions are made quickly and everyone is accessible, including the GM. There’s a personal feel here: regular catch-ups, social get-togethers, and a flexible attitude when life outside work needs attention.

You’ll need at least four years’ experience delivering building services on complex projects, ideally with a head contractor, and a degree or diploma in a relevant field.

Salary package up to $185k including super.
