About the role

One Dream Community, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated NDIS Support Worker to join our dynamic team As a casual NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independent and fulfilling lives.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping

Facilitating social and community engagement, including accompanying clients to appointments and events

Collaborating with clients, their families, and other support professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans

Promoting client independence, dignity, and wellbeing through a person-centred approach

Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of care

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in the disability or aged care sector

Experience in providing direct support and care to individuals with a range of support needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

A satisfactory National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
