We are seeking a Fulltime Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for the cleanliness, orderliness and adequacy of supplies and amenities in each room as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the entire Hotel with facilities and fixtures in good working condition.

The successful candidate will:

Checks all rooms as Attendants report them clean.

Undertake inspections of front of house & back of house areas, ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained

Ensure the safe storage, issue and use of cleaning materials and equipment as specified by the manufacturers and procedures manual

Ensure the correct handling of guest laundry and lost property

Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance regarding “ready” rooms, ensuring guest requirements are met

Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying necessary departments to guarantee memorable moments for our guests

Supervise and train Room Attendants, Houseman and Public Area Cleaners

Collects report sheets and enters into computer as clean, vacant or occupied

Liaise closely with Reception regarding any changes or specials

Ensure that good standards are maintained and that safety is to the highest priority

Creates a cohesive work environment, ensuring high levels of morale within the team

Clean guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas if required

Ideally you will have:

A can-do attitude and a responsible and flexible approach to work

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail

Strong organisational and leadership skills

At least one year experience as a Housekeeping team leader or Supervisor in a 4-5 star hotel

Ability to work a rotating roster, shifts, weekends and public holidays

Must have Full Working rights within Australia.
