About the Role

As a Roofing Specialist, you’ll take the lead on detailed inspections, preparing insurer-ready reports and scopes of work, and ensuring every project meets strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety — from site inspections to mid-repair audits — while maintaining clear communication with clients, insurers, and contractors.

Duties

• Conduct detailed site inspections and provide insurer-ready reports with photographic evidence
• Prepare accurate scopes of work aligned with building codes, regulations, and insurer policies (Prime system)
• Distinguish clearly between new and pre-existing damage in reports
• Carry out mid-repair quality audits to ensure compliance and workmanship standards
• Maintain regular updates (at least every 5 days) with clients and stakeholders
• Ensure projects comply with WHS standards, industry regulations, and insurer requirements
• Keep thorough records of inspections, communications, and project activities

Skills & Experience

• Relevant trade certificate/licence in Roofing
• 5+ years’ roofing experience (repairs, installations, inspections)
• Proven background in inspections, estimating, and scoping work (preferred)
• Knowledge of Australian Standards AS 1562 & AS 2050
• Strong WHS compliance and safe roof access knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s licence and White Card
• Tech-savvy with experience using tablets, mobile devices, and workflow tools (Prime or similar)
