What you'll be doing
Join WSLHD Mental Health Services as Team Leader, Community Acute Care, providing leadership in crisis support and recovery-focused care.
Coordinate acute community mental health services
Lead a multidisciplinary clinical team
Manage staff, resources and rosters effectively
Foster partnerships with health and NGO providers
Drive quality improvement and service development

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Degree in Nursing
Registration in line with Award requirements: Full Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated understanding and experience of mental health acute assessment, triage, crisis management, short term case management & care coordination and the ability to work within the Community Acute Care Team model of care.
Demonstrated experience in the management of multidisciplinary teams, achieving performance KPIs through management of activity, finances and workforce.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated skills in developing and strengthening network partnerships to provide mental health care.
Demonstrated working knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act, 2007. Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality improvement activities with good results.
Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence valid within Australia
