Are you ready to inspire the next generation of thinkers, leaders, and entrepreneurs? St Stephen’s School is seeking a passionate and qualified full time HASS/Business teacher to join our vibrant learning community in Term 1, 2026 at our Carramar Campus.
In this role, you’ll deliver engaging HASS (Years 7-10) and Business curriculum (Year 11-12 Business Certificate), support student growth, and contribute to a collaborative and future-focused teaching team.
Essential Requirements:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), or
TAESS00024 Teacher Enhancement Skill Set
Highly Desirable:
Experience teaching Certificate III and IV in Business
A strong understanding of VET delivery and compliance
Ability to differentiate learning and foster student engagement across diverse cohorts

Selection Criteria (each point to be addressed):
Education and Training
Appropriate teaching qualifications and current registration with Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Hold a current Work With Children card
High levels of skill in teaching, with a willingness to innovate in order to find better practices
A passion for teaching
A coherent philosophy of education for Secondary students, expressed in practice
An excellent knowledge of contemporary educational issues and directions especially in his/her learning area
Skills and experience in developing, implementing and evaluating curriculum
Highly developed skills in the application of technology as a learning, teaching and management tool
Personal Attributes and Values
An ability to foster positive relationships with students, with a commitment to their personal growth
Participation in appropriate professional contributions to the learning area beyond the School.
Experience in and a preparedness to contribute to the School's camping, retreat and extra-curricular programs.
Willingness to positively and actively contribute to the Christian culture of the School.
Respectful participation in the Christian culture is required for non-Christian candidates.
