We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Volunteer Coordinator to join Bellarine Community Health. This role is offered Part Time - 0.6 FTE, 22.8 hours per week - over 3 days or 4 days (to accommodate school hours) and is based in Point Lonsdale.
About Us
Bellarine Community Health (BCH) is the major provider of primary health care services to the Bellarine Peninsula. BCH is a not-for-profit health care provider with close links to our community operating from six sites – in Drysdale (two sites), Ocean Grove (two sites), Point Lonsdale and Portarlington and in community settings across the Bellarine.
BCH delivers a broad scope of health services and wellbeing programs for all people in our diverse communities.
About the Team
Bellarine Community Health’s Volunteers play an integral role in the continued support provided across the Bellarine. They work across all areas of the organisation from strategic governance through to daily interaction with people who use our services. Without our Volunteers, we would not be able to deliver our continued range of services and activities.
About the role
As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll be the heart of our volunteer program—recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to deliver support to our community. You’ll work closely with staff, and other dedicated community members to ensure our programs are inclusive, impactful, and responsive to local needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, onboard, and retain volunteers for community health and wellbeing programs.
Coordinate training and development opportunities.
Foster a positive, supportive and inclusive volunteer culture.
Collaborate with BCH Volunteer Supervisors to ensure meaningful opportunities are available to volunteers.
Monitor and evaluate volunteer impact.

Possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Have experience in volunteer management or community engagement.
