Glass Cutter - Full Time

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Glass Cutter to join our growing production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately cutting and preparing glass panels to high standards of quality and safety for a custom staircase manufacturer. You'll work closely with others in the workshop to ensure every job is completed on time and to specification.

We are open to applications from anyone with experience cutting glass, regardless of your previous industry.

Key Responsibilities

Cut and shape glass to precise measurements using manual tools and/or CNC machines

Read job sheets, drawings, and templates to ensure accurate cuts

Finish glass edges through polishing and other processing techniques

Handle and move glass safely, minimising waste and breakage

Operate, maintain, and clean cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance

Conduct quality checks on finished glass pieces

Assist with inventory tracking and storage of glass materials

Follow WHS procedures, including correct manual handling and PPE usage

What We're Looking For

1-3 years' experience cutting glass (or similar production experience)

Confident using CNC machines and glass-cutting hand tools

Strong eye for detail and ability to work to precise measurements

Physically capable of handling glass and lifting up to 25kg

A safety-first mindset with basic WHS knowledge

A forklift licence is a bonus (but not essential)
