About the Role
Are you an experienced performance marketer with a passion for driving new customer acquisition in eCommerce? Do you thrive on optimising campaigns, analysing data, and delivering measurable results?
We’re seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing team. You’ll play a key role in building, optimising, and scaling paid campaigns across Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) — with a sharp focus on bringing in profitable first-time buyers and fuelling growth for our B2C eCommerce brand.
This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing who is ready to take ownership of Google channels and deliver impactful acquisition results.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you’ll manage high-impact campaigns that bring new customers into our brand:
- New Customer Acquisition: Execute campaigns with a focus on acquiring high-value first-time buyers, while balancing efficiency (nCAC, ROAS, nMER).
- Profitability & Scale: Understand what drives profitability and scale in a B2C eCommerce business and connect these insights to campaign optimisation.
- Google Campaign Management: Plan, build, and optimise Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns.
- Feed & Data Management: Manage Magento product feeds to ensure data quality and accuracy in Google Merchant Center.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor daily campaign performance, adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to maximise profitable new customer growth.
- Business Metrics: Track and connect key eCommerce metrics — CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, payback period — directly to campaign performance.
- Creative & Testing: Collaborate with Creative teams to brief and test ad copy, creative, and messaging that resonates with new audiences.
- Reporting & Insights: Use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Looker Studio to build dashboards and report on acquisition performance.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Performance Marketing Manager, eCommerce, and retention teams to align acquisition with product launches and trading cycles.
About You
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on performance marketing experience, ideally in a B2C eCommerce brand, consumer retail or FMCG background a plus.
- Acquisition Focus: Proven track record of running campaigns that successfully drive new customer growth.
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of how eCommerce businesses grow profitably and scale, and which metrics matter most.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube) and Google Merchant Center.
- Analytics: Skilled in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and campaign attribution models.
- eCommerce Knowledge: Familiarity with Magento feeds, campaign tracking, and promotional cycles.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong eye for accuracy in campaign setup, data, and reporting.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to turn product and customer insights into high-performing acquisition campaigns.
- Collaboration: Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
