ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is primarily responsible for the provision of high-level business support and assistance to the Director of Ambulance Services and Corporate Governance and Administration Manager. This support strongly focuses on detail oriented and analytical skills to support the development, drafting, and final preparation of new and existing documentation relating to organisational wide policies and procedures to ensure strong governance and legislative requirements are maintained across the organisation. Support also extends across the ambulance service departments to ensure Territory wide consistency on matters relating to Ambulance Service delivery. The position requires an ability to establish, promote and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse team including with internal and external customers, working autonomously and with limited supervision, with an ability to prioritise work and manage multiple demands.
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated understanding of policy and procedural requirements in relation to legislation, organisational needs and compliance requirements.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office, databases and computer software packages
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent – desirable.
- Basic legal and industry knowledge – desirable.
- Relevant working experience within an emergency service environment – desirable.
