We have an opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Business Partner Organisational Development & Performance to drive and embed best practice organisational planning, reporting and performance practices.
This role will provide you the opportunity to:
Lead the successful implementation and ongoing support of an Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework that gives regard to the Strategic Planning Principles of the Local Government Act 2020. This will include the development and communication of corporate planning frameworks designed to ensure clear line of sight between our work and vision.
Align annual Individual Performance Plans to the Department Service Plan and Department Workplan.
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Senior Leadership team (SLT) and all Coordinators to embed the corporate planning framework, and understand the integration with other Council Strategies, plans and cross organisational processes, ensuring a consistent organisational approach.
Lead the coordination of performance reporting (including system administration of the reporting software/tools).
Partner with leaders as a trusted business partner supporting the development, implementation and review of whole-of-organisation frameworks, programs and projects which support and focus on improving organisational development and performance, including, but not limited to, Coordination of Councils Employee Engagement framework, including maintenance of the employee engagement system, survey design, data analytics, action plan development and progress reporting.
Support the Manager People and Performance in the Succession Planning framework in alignment with the Workforce Plan.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning and projects and implement across the organisation.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement solutions with attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
Ability to conduct influential, well-articulated oral and written communication, well developed interpersonal skills to be able to present to groups and facilitate engaging workshops.
Proven track record engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders with different and sometimes competing needs and priorities, to set goals, optimise productivity, and achieve positive results.
Highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to effectively build robust, trusting relationships with senior decision makers and management internally and across all levels of Government.
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability and willingness to adapt within an environment of fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.
