About the role

Hours: 30-35 hours per week, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time.

As an Embroidery Machine Operator at Borger Safety and Workwear, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, responsible for operating new Barudan embroidery machines to create high-quality custom designs on our range of workwear and safety products. This part-time position is based in our modern facility in Glendenning, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain embroidery machines to produce custom designs on a variety of garments and accessories. Knowlege of relevant software (i.e. Wilcom) is beneficial but trainings can be provided.

Set up machines, load materials, and monitor production to ensure consistent quality

Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on embroidery equipment as needed

Work closely with the design team to understand specifications and implement new designs

Maintain accurate production records and report on output

Independent but also can work as a team to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Part Time working hours, Monday to Friday, approx. 8.30am to 3.30pm

What we're looking for

Previous experience as an embroidery machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Relevant qualifications or certifications in textile manufacturing or production
