Position Overview: Can you replace our Super Girl?

Our resident hero is hanging up her cape, and we need someone just as amazing to swoop in! We’re on the hunt for a personable, reliable and motivated Sales, Purchasing and Delivery extraordinaire to join our team.

The successful candidate will be proficient in all aspects of the business - sales and administration, stock management, purchasing, delivery organisation and completing deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

About Us: Kent’s Hardware in Molong is a family-owned and operated timber and hardware store where we take customer service seriously – but not ourselves. We’re a tight-knit team, and while capes aren’t standard uniform (yet), you can expect a friendly, safe and supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

Excellent customer service in assisting customers with their building materials needs.

Stock management (sales orders, purchase orders, stock control activities) in a timely manner.

Loading and unloading timber and hardware products.

Keeping our store and yard looking sharp and safe.

Proficient use of computer systems, such as Frameworks.

A ‘çan do’ approach, a positive attitude and excellent time management skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items.

Sharp eyes for detail and an unshakable commitment to safety.

Forklift license = essential. MR truck licence + crane skills = legendary. If you don’t have these licenses, we’ll help you get there.

Previous experience in a hardware or sales = handy, but not a deal breaker.
