Communication is key, as you’ll work closely with managers, staff and contractors to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of multi-skilled personnel in a safe and cost-effective manner
• Day-to-day activities of workshop personnel
• Technical support and guidance
• Mentoring apprentices and leading by example for all staff
• Rebuilds and repairs on a wide range of heavy machinery
• Diagnosis, maintenance and repair of large earthmoving and associated equipment
• Problem solve and manage conflicting priorities

What we are looking for:

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
• Previous experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing workshop environment
• Strong safety focus with a working knowledge of WorkSafe regulations
• Ability to work autonomously
• Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, WAH, Crane, etc
