This is a Permanent or Fixed Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. The successful applicant will be in a dual role, comprising 0.5 FTE with Integrated Cancer Services and 0.5 FTE in Renal Services.

Position Profile: In this dual role, the Senior Social Worker will:

• Provide an expert Social Work service in liaison with other members of the regional Renal Support Team
• Deliver Social Work services within Cancer Services at an advanced practice level
• Contribute to the planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluation of timely and culturally appropriate Social Work services for the patients of Kalgoorlie Health Campus
• Support patients and families by delivering high quality patient-centred care across both service areas.
