About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Metal Ancillaries Pick Packer/Yard Hand to join our Yard/Logistics Department. In this role, your main responsibility will be accurately picking and packing all metal hardware items required for dispatch alongside our prefabricated wall and truss products.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick metal components and hardware from pick slips

Prepare and pack items ready for dispatch to job sites

Ensure correct items are labelled with correct job number

Maintain a tidy and organised workspace in the ancillaries shed

Perform regular manual handling, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Additional duties:

Use of forklift – valid forklift licence is essential. Experience moving large bulky loads such as timber packs highly desirable

Unload supplier deliveries

Load prefabricated wall/truss packs onto trucks

Move stock around yard

Assist in picking timber orders

General yard maintenance

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to be physically capable, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

You must be:

Physically fit – able to handle frequent lifting, bending, and prolonged standing

Comfortable working in an open shed environment, exposed to seasonal weather

Methodical and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accuracy

Self-motivated, able to work efficiently without close supervision

Capable of performing repetitive tasks with focus and consistency

Available full-time Monday to Friday 7am – 3:11pm
