The Role

We’re looking for a go-getter — someone who doesn’t just supervise operations, but seizes every opportunity to grow the business, develop strong relationships, and raise brand awareness. We're seeking a hands-on Operations supervisor to lead our Geebung store, reporting directly to the General Manager and Director (based in NZ). This is a key leadership role for a self-starter who thrives in a customer facing environment, can make the most of every minute of the day, and enjoys taking ownership of the role and growth of the business in the Australian market.

You’ll be supervising the day-to-day operations of the branch, across workshop, installations, customer service, sales, and admin, while ensuring our customers receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all branch operations including workshop, installations, inventory, and customer service

Coordinate job scheduling and ensure timely delivery of installations and dispatch.

Supervise and grow a high-performing team across workshop and front-of-house

Proactively build new business opportunities and nurture key customer and trade relationships

Maintain our customer database, ensuring follow-ups, repeat business, and customer engagement are optimised.

Ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences across all channels (in-store, phone, email)

Drive customer satisfaction through strong service and operational efficiency

Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering, and procurement.

Maintain safety, compliance, and quality control across all areas

Report on KPIs and contribute to strategic planning and business development at branch level

Lead by example and help build a culture of pride, productivity, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in operations (preferably in a supervisory role), workshop, or department management (automotive or trade-related industries preferred)

Strong experience in business development and key account relationship management.

Confident with customer database management and using systems to drive sales follow-ups and repeat business.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team development skills

Physically fit, with the ability to safely perform some heavy lifting as part of daily operations.

Excellent organisational and time-management ability

Self-starter who thrives on autonomy and is hungry to grow a business

A proactive attitude — you take initiative and don’t wait to be told

Organised and capable of managing people, processes, and priorities

Comfortable working across hands-on tasks, admin, and team leadership

Mechanically minded or a trade background would be a plus

This role could suit someone currently working in the automotive industry or as a vehicle accessory installer who’s ready to take the next step in their career.

Forklift license or willingness to obtain one

Must have a current / clean drivers license
