Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Glazier – Glass Fencing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, replacement, and removal of glass fencing systems, including frameless and semi-frameless designs for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with outdoor installations and a solid understanding of working with structural glass and hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and prepare sites for glass fence installations

Cut, transport, and install toughened glass panels and posts

Install frameless and semi-frameless glass fencing systems including spigots, rails, and fixings

Ensure glass is level, secure, and meets all safety and building standards

Read and interpret layout plans, specifications, and drawings

Work with a variety of materials and finishes (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, powder-coated components)

Inspect job sites before and after installation to ensure quality workmanship

Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team members

Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment properly

Requirements:

Proven experience in glazing or fence installation (glass fencing experience preferred)

Proficient with power tools, measuring devices, and glass handling techniques

Ability to read and interpret installation plans and site measurements

Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre heavy glass panels

Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience installing pool fences or balustrades to local compliance standards

Understanding of local council and safety regulations regarding glass fencing

White Card (Construction Induction Training)

Certification in glazing or related trade is a plus
