About the role

Yarra Ranges Council is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to support the efficient delivery of our Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Sleep and Settling Programs. This key role provides high-level administrative services, ensuring these vital programs run smoothly and effectively support our community.

This is a part-time permanent position (3 days per week).

This is a Band 4 role with a salary hourly rate between $37.01 and $38.72 per hour, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with health professionals, clients, and team members.

Strong administrative and organisational abilities, including scheduling, record maintenance, and meeting coordination.

Experience in preparing promotional materials and managing data entry tasks with high accuracy.

A commitment to quality assurance, ensuring adherence to established procedures and attention to detail in all tasks.

Resilience and adaptability to navigate changing responsibilities and manage competing priorities effectively.

A genuine interest in supporting programs that enhance the health and wellbeing of families in our community.

A collaborative mindset, working cooperatively with the MCH team to achieve shared goals
