About the role

The Northern Foot Clinic is seeking an experienced Podiatry Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Gawler and Elizabeth Vale, SA on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to our team of qualified Podiatrists, helping to deliver high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

Assisting Podiatrists with patient examinations, treatments and procedures

Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for use

Providing patients with information and guidance on post-treatment care

Maintaining accurate patient records and completing administrative tasks as required

Ensuring the clinic's facilities, equipment and supplies are well-organised and well-maintained

Demonstrating exceptional customer service and a caring, empathetic approach to patient interactions

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in allied health, such as a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent (HLT32407 or HLT42507)

Minimum Certificate III qualification in Allied Health Assistance is required for this position

Previous experience working in a healthcare or allied health setting, preferably in a podiatry clinic.

A minimum of 6-12 months healthcare experience in an allied health setting is required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A caring, patient-focused approach and a genuine desire to help others

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some evenings and weekends

Australian citizenship is required for this position
