Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Practitioner in Hand Therapy at The Hand Recovery Centre located primarily at Greenslopes. The successful applicant will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with hand, wrist, and elbow injuries. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, designing treatment plans, performing specialized therapy techniques, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and monitoring progress to ensure effective recovery.

About you

A Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy

AHPRA registration

AHTA membership preferred and Accredited Hand Therapist credential desirable

2+ years hand therapy experience requirement (may have some flexibility for exceptional candidates with demonstrated competency)

Expertise in evaluating and treating hand, wrist, and elbow injuries

Proficiency in designing and implementing targeted treatment programs

Strong communication skills for collaborating with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals

Experience in using specialised hand therapy techniques

Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills
