About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Morphett Vale Family Practice in Morphett Vale, South Australia. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our diverse patient population. This role will encompass working over both the general practice and Urgent Care Clinic. This is a casual position, with opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of coordinated, patient-centred care

Providing health education and support to patients and their families

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and infection control protocols

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration

Experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role is preferred

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based nursing practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and problem-solving

Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic patient management systems

Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
