Casual Position

Agright is a newly established agribusiness that specialises in poultry farming and agribusiness investment. Its founder and shareholders have, in excess of 30 years’ experience in the meat chicken industry and are looking to grow the business and bring staff and stakeholders on the journey. Agright currently operate across Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking a Broiler Farm Hand to join our team in current vacancies on our farm to work in modern Barn Chicken Farms in Rosedale Victoria.

Role Description:

You will be working alongside a management team in day-to-day work on a poultry farm. There will be scope to move into future management roles as Agright will be expanding.

There will be alternating weekend work and overtime from time to time.

Duties and training include but not limited to:

· Working as part of a dynamic and effective team, following direction from the farm management team.

· Keeping the flock wellbeing as the number one priority within the processor and RSPCA guidelines.

· Daily shed environmental and routine bird checks, collecting of data and shed maintenance.

· Ground and facility upkeep.

· Reporting back to the management team on potential hazards and safety concerns.

· Maintaining all processor and company policies and procedures.

About You:

· Self-motivated and proactive.

· Physically fit and capable of manual labour.

· Previous experience in the poultry industry is advantageous.

· Experience using machinery preferred but not essential.
