The Position:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable farm hand to join our Livestock team. This hands-on role is full time and involves a variety of livestock and property maintenance duties to support the effective management of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily animal husbandry tasks, including health checks, treatments, and accurate livestock record keeping.

Handle and move cattle safely and efficiently through all stages including mustering, drafting, receival, dispatch, and induction.

Maintain and repair cattle infrastructure such as water and feed systems, fencing, bores, pipelines, and yards.

Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and other equipment.

Use livestock management systems to accurately capture animal data during handling.

About You:

Practical experience in cattle handling and general farm duties.

Strong understanding of animal welfare practices.

Ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physically fit and comfortable working in a rural environment.

A proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
