As we continue to expand, we are seeking experienced Material Handler / Excavator Operators to FIFO to our Leonora yard on a 2:1 swing.

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in a scrap metal yard is highly regarded

Valid operator’s license and relevant certifications required

Proven experience operating excavators and material handling machinery

Oxy Cutting experience is highly regarded

Tasks & responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to handle scrap materials efficiently.

Load and unload scrap materials safely in compliance with company procedures.

Assist in sorting and grading steel for transport.

Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
