As we continue to expand, we are seeking experienced Material Handler / Excavator Operators to join our busy scrap yard team in Maddington.

What we’re looking for

Proven scrap yard experience operating material handlers (essential).

Valid operator’s licence and relevant certifications.

Strong knowledge of scrap yard processes, grading, and recycling operations.

Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling varied materials.

Your responsibilities

Operate material handlers, excavators, and other heavy machinery to process scrap efficiently.

Safely load and unload scrap materials in compliance with company procedures.

Sort, grade, and prepare scrap from mining, demolition, and commercial sources for recycling.

Maintain machinery, ensuring it remains in safe working condition.

Adhere to all site safety requirements and support a strong safety culture.
