Roth’s Wine Bar + Cellar, one of Mudgee’s most iconic venues, is looking for motivated and enthusiastic juniors to become part of our friendly kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for their first job, a reliable after-school position, or a school leaver keen to earn money while planning a gap year.

While previous hospitality or kitchen experience is an advantage, it’s not essential. We provide full on-the-job training to help you build confidence and develop practical skills that will serve you well in any career.

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining a clean, safe workspace

Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and plating

Helping with the setup and organisation of orders during service

General kitchen cleaning and end of shift pack down

Pitching in wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly

What we’re looking for:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good teamwork and communication skills

Reliability and commitment to shifts (including evenings and weekends)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping a focus on quality and safety
