We're looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join a residential therapeutic community setting supporting clients on their recovery journey on a locum flexible contract for up to 3 months with the opportunity to go permenant. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about working in the AOD sector and keen to make a real impact.

The role
You'll work closely with Registered Nurses, GPs, and allied health staff, providing high-quality nursing care, assessments, and medication management. You'll be part of a supportive clinical team, helping residents build healthier, safer, and more connected lives.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the admission, treatment, and discharge processes for residents

Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring health conditions

Administering medications and ensuring safe prescribing practices

Contributing to treatment planning and recovery goals

Facilitating health education and wellbeing groups

Collaborating with GPs, allied health, and external providers

Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to a safe, trauma-informed environment

What we're looking for

Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse

Diploma in Nursing

Experience working with clients experiencing AOD, mental health, or complex needs

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice

Desirable but not essential:

Knowledge of AOD pharmacotherapy

Completion of AOD core competencies (or willingness to obtain)

Additional requirements

Current WWCC, National Police Check, and valid driver's licence
