Handover Advisor – Full Time
Location: Heatherbrae | Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm
Australian Caravan Centre is looking for a full-time Handover Advisor to join our team at our Newcastle Dealership. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced dealership with a strong team culture.
In this role, you'll help ensure smooth caravan handovers from booking to delivery. We're looking for someone with excellent customer service, strong organisational skills, and a sharp eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
Schedule, prepare, and conduct customer handovers for both new and used caravans, including coordinating interstate deliveries.
Act as a key contact for customers, keeping them informed on delivery timelines and answering any queries.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure caravans are ready for handover on time.
Manage caravan stock records, including daily stocktakes and inventory updates.
Prepare pre-delivery documentation, including repair orders and allocating necessary parts.
Check-in incoming stock and manage their documentation and location status.
Maintain accurate sales and customer data in company systems.
Keep online files, customer records, and digital admin up to date and correctly stored.
Assist the sales team and sales manager with general administration as needed.
Assist with the packing and maintenance of administrational stock for industry shows.
About You:
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (automotive, RV, or dealership experience a bonus).
Comfortable learning and communicating basic technical information (caravan features, functions, etc.).
Strong organisational and time-management skills—you can juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail with experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Confident communicator who can build rapport with customers and internal teams.
Positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
Team player who enjoys contributing to a friendly and supportive workplace.
