We're looking for a passionate, energetic Swim School Teacher to take on a dynamic part-time role (approx. 20–25 hours per week) combining swim instruction, admin coordination, and team supervision. If you have a strong background in teaching and love creating positive experiences for families, this could be the perfect role for you!

As our Swim School Teacher & Coordinator, you'll wear a few different hats:

Deliver engaging, high-quality swim lessons (Parent & Baby through to learn to swim classes)

Support our team of swim instructors

Handle day-to-day coordination and admin tasks

Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and families

Ensure smooth operation of weekend swim programs

This is a varied, rewarding role ideal for someone who thrives on being in the water and behind the scenes.

What We're Looking For

Qualified in Parent & Baby swim instruction (AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, or equivalent)

Confident teaching babies, toddlers, and young children

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in swim instruction

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Friendly, professional, and approachable—especially with parents

Organised and capable of managing admin and supervising a small team

Weekend availability is essential

Full working rights in Australia

A can-do attitude and a genuine love for working with children and families

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Valid Working with Children Check
