We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Learn to Swim Instructors to join our school intensive swim program running from mid-October to mid-December in Redfern. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about teaching children water safety and swimming skills while contributing to the wellbeing of our community.

You will be responsible for:

Delivering high-quality swim lessons to school-aged children

Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Supporting children to build confidence in the water and develop lifelong skills

Engaging with families and the community in line with our mission of fostering connection, learning, and opportunity

Adhering to program guidelines, safety protocols, and pool regulations

Requirements:

Previous experience teaching swimming lessons (school or community programs preferred)

Current AUSTSWIM (or equivalent) and First Aid/CPR certifications

Morning availability essential; early afternoon availability highly regarded

A positive, patient, and energetic approach to teaching

Commitment to supporting community engagement and inclusive participation
