What are we looking for?

Seeking a silicone/caulking installer team leader that has experience in all aspects of internal & external silicone works. The scope of works can range from the installation of silicone to various surfaces including walls, floors, ceilings, facades, external articulation joints and a variety of remedial work.

Must have 4 years prior experience in all aspects of Silicone/Caulking Installation

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of caulking materials, techniques, and safety procedures.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

A high level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Whilst this role is based in the Newcastle, Central Coast & Mid North Coast areas, the majority of the work will be undertaken in the Hunter and the surrounding areas.

Requirements of the role

Previous experience as a silicone/caulking installer in residential and/or commercial construction projects.

Proficiency in applying different types of caulking materials to various surfaces whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Current Unrestricted Driver’s License (company vehicle will be provided)

General administrative duties.

As the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for supervising a small team of two to three installers. You will:

Lead and mentor a team of caulking installers, ensuring work is completed to our high standards.

Manage project timelines and coordinate with site supervisors and builders.

Perform high-quality caulking and sealing on various surfaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and external facades.

Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean worksite.

Conduct on-site quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Manage and maintain tools, equipment and scheduling.

Assist with training new team members as needed.

General administrative duties.
