Role Overview:

As a Plasterer, you’ll play a key role in the construction process by preparing and finishing internal wall and ceiling systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Plan and lay out plasterboard, including installation of insulation and moisture barriers where required.

Accurately measure, cut, and position plasterboard sheets for installation.

Secure plasterboard to walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and fixings.

Install corner trims and other edge components to ensure clean, durable finishes.

Use sanding tools, wet brushes, and other techniques to produce smooth, even surfaces.

Apply materials to enhance acoustic performance, fire resistance, and thermal insulation as specified.

Construct suspended ceilings and install specialised wall systems, including fire-rated and composite linings.

Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered on time.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

About you

To be successful in these roles, you will need the following:

Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in wall and ceiling plastering.

Knowledge of plasterboard systems, fire-rated and acoustic installations.

Attention to detail and quality.

White Card.

Driver’s Licence.

Work Safely at Heights.

National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
