ARE YOU AN EXCEPTIONAL ADMINISTRATOR WHO THRIVES IN A SMALL TEAM ?
We are working with a peak body within the community sector who are actively working hard to shape social change. They are a high-performing team who oversee several key programs that are working to change the experience of everyday Australians.
One of the benefits of working with a small team is the ability to work with breadth and depth across multiple projects - and this promises just that. Supporting a capable and strategic National Program Manager, this role will take ownership and oversee the day-to-day running of three critical national programs - focused on the delivery of planning, monitoring, scheduling activities and reporting.
What to expect in a day? Well, anything! Here is a taste:
- set priorities required to meet program outcomes, monitor milestones and manage program activities to meet those goals
- manage data and reporting processes relating to each program
- liaise with a wide range of stakeholders that will range from program participants through to key external stakeholders in the youth and community sector
- provide secretariat support for program committees
- participate in broader business and operational planning
The variety on offer will match an experienced program coordinator who can not only deliver the full range of administrative tasks to keep things on track but also apply their strategic lens over the work. We want someone both confident and resilient, with the capacity to understand the strategic agenda, and apply it to their decision making.
Ideally the perfect match for this role will have prior experience in the delivery of programs and/or projects, demonstrating a strong ability to get across new issues and topics quickly. Attention to detail is a non-negotiable and will need to be coupled with high levels of organisational ability and commitment to meeting both deadlines and budgets.
Experience in the youth or community sector would be a bonus, as would experience working within the salesforce CRM.
Personally, the right fit for this position will be a true team player, but also happy and able to work autonomously when required. This is a no-nonsense environment, with such a busy schedule of work on there is little time to gossip or fuss. Which is lucky, because it is not what this team are about!
If you have the skills we need, a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to an organisation working hard to address some big social issues then this could be a great match for you. The work is to be performed on-site in Turner, ACT. While some work from home is possible, it is not the norm.
In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive a salary of $82,500 plus 12% super and will also have access to the FBT salary packaging benefits that come with working in a charitable organisation.
Finally, this role is open to all candidates with both the right to work in an ongoing role in Australia and the abovementioned skills and experience. You will need to obtain and hold both an ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and National Police check.
Please apply today to be considered. Upload your CV, but if you truly want to be competitive include a cover letter that gives us a bit of insight on who you are and how you operate. In a crowded market, you need to make yourself stand out.
