Drive the development and refinement of governance structures, policy, performance and risk frameworks across the PGT.

The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee is an independent office that provides information and services to the Northern Territory community in the areas of guardianship, advance personal planning, wills and estates, financial management and related matters

As the Governance and Project Officer your primary objective is to support operational excellence by driving governance and compliance activities and related projects through providing strategic advice, analysing data, shaping policy and leading process improvements.

You'll play a key role in delivering organisational projects, supporting system and process change initiatives, and embedding continuous improvement practices. You will also support data-driven decision-making, ensure legislative compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

To be successful, you require a sound understanding of governance principles, frameworks and risk management, experience contributing to policy development and supporting quality assurance activities.

Familiarity with strategic and business planning processes and demonstrated commitment to integrity, accountability and teamwork is essential.
