Scraper & Grader Operators Multiple Projects - Day Shift only!

Minecon Recruitment is collaborating with multiple leading organisations to source experienced heavy equipment operators for a project located West of Gladstone & in North Queensland. Our clients, possess many decades of industry expertise, delivering projects across the Resources, Infrastructure, Mining and Renewable Energy sectors.

Project Overview and Role Details

The project requires the operation of CAT 637 CAT 621 Scrapers & CAT 14M Graders, with additional opportunities available for rigid dump trucks, articulated dump trucks & compactor operators.

Remuneration: A competitive pay rate of $67.00 - $70.00 per hour plus superannuation will be provided to Scarper & Final Trim Grader Operators.

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (7:7) day shift only roster will be implemented, featuring 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:00.

· Logistics:

o Camp accommodation is provided, including all meals.

o Site access from the camp is facilitated by a bus service, with a commute time under 10 minutes.

o Accommodation facilities offer amenities such as a heated pool, gymnasium, and catering services.

o This is a DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) position; Fuel costs assisted with.

Project Duration: The program is scheduled for up to 20 weeks, commencing ASAP.

Career Pathway: Potential opportunities exist for transition to subsequent projects upon successful completion of this assignment.

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience:

A minimum of 12 months of demonstrated experience operating CAT Scrapers or Graders (specifically the CAT 637 Scrapers & CAT 14M Graders)

Over 12 months of proven experience operating heavy earth-moving machinery relevant to the specific role applied for.

Certifications & Inductions:

Current Coal Board Medical.

Current Standard 11 Induction.

A valid RII Statement of Attainment – Conduct Scraper or Grader Operations is mandatory for all operator applicants.

Site Specifics:

Ability to complete the Glencore generic induction.

Work Ethic: A strong commitment to safety protocols, a robust work ethic, and the ability to fulfil the entire 20 -week project duration is essential.
