As a Solar / Dry-fire technician:

You’ll work closely with experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in installations, maintenance, and general trade tasks. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a market leading commercial solar / dry-fire installation team in Sydney.

Your role includes, but not limited to the followings:

· Carry out installation of solar PV systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, installation of main switches and other standard commercial electrical work

· Carry out installation of smoke detectors, fire alarm systems including rough-in and fit-out works

· Performing general labour tasks incl. lifting, carrying, and moving equipment

· Assure field works are carried out in compliance with the most recent diagrams and drawings

· Assist project managers and engineers with updating markups to complete as-built drawings

· Ensure all work is complete to the highest standards, meeting safety and compliance requirements

Key Competencies:

· Confidence to work at heights and perform tasks in various weather conditions

· Ability to read engineering drawings and circuit diagrams

· Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for success in this role

· Adhering to project approved Safe Work Methodology Statement (SWMS) to carry out onsite work safely

Work Location: Varies depending on project location. Mostly within Sydney Metro area (typically within a 1-hour drive).

Other Requirements

(Key Requirements or Qualifications)

Experience in DC electrical systems (Preferred)

Experience as a roof worker/electrical trade assistant is highly regarded

Experience in using hand tools / power tools

Korean speaker (preferred)
