Location: Sydney

Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension

We are seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman for a 6-month contract to oversee all finishing works on a high-rise residential development. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of apartments and common areas while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all finishing trades on-site, including carpenters, painters, tilers, and fit-out teams.

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed to project specifications and schedules.

Monitor workmanship quality and ensure all finishes meet the required standards.

Maintain programme schedules and coordinate with project management to ensure milestones are met.

Enforce WHS policies and safe working practices across all finishing trades.

Inspect completed works and report any defects or areas for improvement.

Communicate effectively with site management, contractors, and clients.

Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain workflow efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on multistorey residential projects.

Strong leadership and trade coordination skills.

In-depth knowledge of WHS requirements and safe site practices.

Ability to manage programmes and schedules effectively.

High attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
