Join Our Team as a Direct Care Worker (Community) – Support Independence and Wellbeing at Home
Are you passionate about helping people live independently in their own homes? As a Direct Care Worker (Community), you will provide hands-on support to aged, frail, or disabled clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life in their chosen environment.
About the Role:
In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities and provide direct care services under the supervision of the Coordinator. You will work closely with Community Health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe, person-centred care tailored to each client’s individual needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
