About the role

As an Infrastructure Maintenance Crew Member at Yarra Ranges Council, you will undertake general road, drainage, streetscape maintenance, and operate and maintain various plant items, while working cooperatively to achieve team goals.

This is a dynamic, hands-on position that supports the wellbeing and everyday experience of communities across Yarra Ranges, perfect for people who enjoy outdoor work, and making a visible difference in their environment. The role is suited to someone who takes a proactive approach in identifying and addressing maintenance issues, is community-minded, and comfortable taking initiative.

As part of the Infrastructure Maintenance team, you’ll help shape safe, welcoming streetscapes, roads, and drainage systems by:

Operating and maintaining vehicles and tools with confidence and care

Undertaking maintenance that contributes to a clean, safe, and accessible community

Supporting emergency response and business continuity during critical times.

This is a Band 3 role with a salary range between $66,591 and $69,266 per annum, plus superannuation (pro-rata for part time).
