Assistant Director / Educational Leader – Join the Fun at Small Friends Falcon!

At Small Friends Falcon, we believe in creating a magical, play based haven for 2-5 year olds and that starts with our incredible educators and leaders. With some exciting changes happening in our leadership team, we’re now looking for an experienced Assistant Director or a passionate experienced Room Leader ready to step into a leadership role!

This role has become available as our amazing existing Assistant Director / Educational Leader is growing within the business – and now it’s your turn to shine!

About the Role

We’re seeking a full time or part time (4 days per week) Assistant Director / Educational Leader to support our dynamic, mixed age learning environment in our beautiful Small Friends House, located in Falcon, Mandurah.

This role combines leadership, mentoring and day to day support of our educators, while keeping your passion for play based, child led learning at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll work closely with our Director to guide, inspire and empower our team while helping to maintain the warm, family like culture that makes Small Friends Falcon so special.

What You’ll Bring:

A Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education & Care.
Experience as either an Assistant Director or a strong Room Leader ready to step up.
A team first attitude, supporting and uplifting educators while fostering collaboration.
A confident, professional approach with strong communication skills.
In depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, with a passion for quality outcomes for children and leading the development of engaging, play based curriculums.
Strong time management and organisational skills to thrive in a fast paced environment.
A genuine love for mentoring, inspiring and guiding educators!
