Accounts Payable Officer – Elite Supplements Australia (ACT)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our energetic and growing finance team at Elite Supplements Australia, based in Hume, ACT.
Working in a high-volume, multi-entity environment, you’ll handle end-to-end AP processes, coordinate with our offshore team, and drive accuracy, efficiency, and improvement. What You’ll Be Doing
Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
Manage invoice approvals via Approval Max.
Liaise with suppliers on payment queries, discrepancies, and onboarding.
Reconcile supplier statements, resolve issues, and maintain AP records in Xero.
Support month-end AP reporting and financial compliance.
Coordinate with offshore AP agents to ensure smooth daily operations.
Work closely with Procurement and Operations on inventory-related transactions.
Identify process gaps and contribute to workflow improvements.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
2+ years’ experience in a high-volume accounts payable role, preferably in a retail environment.
Proficiency in Xero and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-moving business.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Approval Max, Dext, or inventory-related AP.
Retail or FMCG industry experience.
Understanding of multi-entity processing.
