The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead employment services through the new Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES). This is an exciting opportunity to implement and oversee program operations, lead a diverse team, build strong relationships and community connection, and drive sustainable outcomes for individuals and communities across the region.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading high-quality employment services that support people through meaningful pathways to employment, training and participation, and meet compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
Develop and oversee RAES operations across the region.
Ensure alignment with community priorities.
Quality and Compliance
Lead quality service delivery including monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, and ensuring a continuous improvement focus.
Manage compliance with program requirements, including achievement of KPIs.
People Leadership
Lead, develop, support and mentor a diverse team across different sites.
Build inclusive teams and culture.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, employers and other service providers.
Financial Oversight
Manage sustainable operations in line with program budgets, including monitoring and reporting on program expenditure.
Qualifications and Experience:
Strong leadership and operational management experience, with the ability to manage diverse teams working in remote locations.
Demonstrated experience and success delivering employment and/or community services through government contracts.
Strong communication and engagement skills and experience working with diverse community and stakeholder groups.
Cultural competence and experience working with Aboriginal communities.
