Our client is a leading manufacturer of conveyor components, including pulleys and frames for the mining industry. They pride themselves on precision engineering, quality, and safety. They are looking for a skilled NDT Technician to join the team.
Role Overview:
As an NDT Technician, you will perform non-destructive testing on conveyor components to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining product integrity and supporting the engineering and production teams.
Shift: Days 6-2:30pm
Hourly Rate: $50.90 per hour plus super + penalties
Start date: Immediate Start pending D&A / Medical
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT) and dye penetrant (PT).
Inspect materials and components for defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain thorough records.
Requirements:
Relevant NDT certification (Level 2 preferred) in one or more techniques.
Previous experience as an NDT Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
