Join our team We’re looking for a passionate Educational Leader to join our team at Macquarie Park and help shape rich, child-led programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection.

In this role, you’ll lead, mentor, and support a team of Educators to deliver high-quality, play-based learning that exceeds the National Quality Standard (NQS). You'll also collaborate closely with the Service Director and families to support each child’s development and wellbeing.

The Service

• A 120-place service caring for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with 6 rooms and 3 spacious outdoor play areas — two upstairs and one downstairs.
• Dedicated support from an experienced Area Manager, along with an incredible in-service team including an Assistant Manager, Curriculum Leader, and Service Administrator to help guide and support you in your role.
• Use the Owna platform to easily connect and communicate with families, keeping them engaged and informed throughout the entire process.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and child-led programming
• Experience mentoring educators and leading educational practices
• Understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy (desirable)
• Current First Aid (including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis)
• Current WWCC and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Child Protection, Safe Sleep, and Food Safety Training (desirable)
• Passionate about early learning and confident in supporting diverse learning needs
• Collaborative, creative, and confident communicator
