About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Fast Track Restoration in Melbourne. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety make safes and water damaged properties, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality building and repair services to our valued clients. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Performing a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing and installing cabinetry, doors and windows

Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accurate and compliant work

Collaborating with project managers, tradesmen, and clients to coordinate and execute construction projects

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

Troubleshooting and problem-solving to address any issues that may arise during the construction process

Providing support and guidance to junior carpenters and apprentices, sharing your expertise and knowledge

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience

Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of carpentry principles, methods and tools

Ability to read and interpret floor plans, technical drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges on the job

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients

Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality work

Relevant trade qualifications or certification, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry
