Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Mental Health Clinician to join the Hume Community Team located at the Merri-bek Community Mental Health Service.

Northern Health is the third largest mental health service in Victoria Northern.

We aim to provide strong clinical leadership to support all staff in the provision of professional treatment and care by our integrated community teams, inpatient, and residential services.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Clinician (Grade Two Occupational Therapist/Social Worker/Psychologist or Grade 3 registered Psychiatric Nurse) to join the Merri-bek Community Team within Northern Health's Mental Health Division.
We are located centrally at 130 Bell Street - close to Public Transport and parking options.
The Merri-bek Community team is a large, supportive and dynamic team made up of staff that are truly passionate and motivated in supporting consumers and their families/carers.
We provide a comprehensive range of specialist mental health services to people who reside in the local government areas of Merri-bek and Hume.
This role involves working in conjunction with other members of the treating team to support a designated group of consumers requiring medium to long term specialist mental health support through assessment, delivering targeted mental health interventions and co-ordinating care.
With support of the multidisciplinary team you will provide assessment, interventions and case management for a designated group of consumers.
This role is predominately business hours, but there is the option of working a small number of shifts within the acute function of the team.
This position is fixed term part time (48 hours per fortnight) position up until May 8 2026, with possibility of changing to Full Time, Ongoing.
