About the role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Cabinet Maker / Shopfitter / vinyl floor layer to join our team at Barrett Building Solutions Pty Ltd. This full-time role will involve a diverse range of carpentry and cabinet making duties, contributing to the delivery of high-quality maintenance, de-fits and refurbishment projects.

What the role entails

Carry out precise measurements, mark-ups and cutting of materials

Perform on-site maintenance & repairs to a wide range of tasks varying job to job and day to day

Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications

Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice

Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Qualified carpenter / cabinet maker / vinyl floor layer with a relevant trade qualification or at least 5 years experience

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
