The Role

As the Software Test Manager, you will be responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a team of testers. You will define testing strategies, implement best practices and processes, and collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver timely releases. This full-time position is a hands-on leadership role requiring both management skills and deep testing expertise.

What You'll Do

Become a total product expert in the Careview suite of software products.

Lead our testing team (4 members), providing training, mentorship, and guidance to develop their skills.

Ensure the quality of test cases and testing processes through reviews, coaching, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies

Monitor test activities and progress, preparing and delivering clear reports on test status, defects, and overall product quality to stakeholders.

Analyse requirements to create effective testing strategies and plans (manual, automated, performance, regression, UAT).) that align with project risk profiles.

Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and reporting across the team.

Collaborate closely with customers, product managers, and developers to keep testing strategies aligned with product changes and business needs.

Quantify and proactively address risks associated with system changes.

Oversee testing in CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

About You

A seasoned testing professional with a commitment to delivering quality software outcomes within expected delivery timeframes.

Proven ability to lead and mentor software testers, and guide teams in adopting best practices.

Eager to learn, adapt, and continuously improve our software testing processes.

A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Legally entitled to work in Australia, with a preference for candidates who can flexibly work between home and our Gold Coast office when needed.

Experience Required

3+ Years of experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead.

3+ Years of manual and automated testing experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps or similar.

Experience in cloud-based testing.

Unlimited full working rights in Australia are required.

Desirable Skills

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

ISTQB or equivalent certification.

Strong practical knowledge of SQL and APIs testing tool (Postman).
